Mr. John Aubry Davis is the managing partner of JA DAVIS & ASSOCIATES, LLP a position he has held since 2003. Prior to becoming the managing partner of JA DAVIS, Mr. Davis was a founding partner of the San Antonio Law Firm of MATTHEWS & DAVIS, LLP. Mr. Davis is a veteran and served in the US Army’s Intelligence and Security Command from 1983-1987 after attending the US Army Intelligence School. After being honorably discharged from active duty, Mr. Davis attended theUniversityofArizonawhere he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1990. Subsequently, in 1994 Mr. Davis went on to attend law school at St. Mary’s University. While attending St. Mary’s, Mr. Davis actively participated in trial advocacy competitions and was selected as a member of the St. Mary’s University’s Jessup Moot Court team. Mr. Davis received his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University in1997. InJuly 1997 Mr. Davis took and passed the Arizona Bar Examination.

In February 1998 Mr. Davis took and passed the Texas Bar Examination and has been licensed to practice law in the state ofTexassince1998. In2009 Mr. Davis was elected to the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and as of 2010 continues to serve as an elected member of the Board. Mr. Davis is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association and is an Executive Counsel Member of the State Bar of Texas Workers Compensation Section. On several occasions, Mr. Davis has been invited by the State Bar of Texas to attend and speak at the State Bar of Texas’ Advanced Workers’ Compensation Law Seminar; a seminar calibrated to educate attorneys who are actively engaged in the practice of workers’ compensation law. Additionally Mr. Davis has actively participated in the Legislative process on the behalf of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and injured workers during the last several legislative sessions. Mr. Davis represents injured parties in court and before administrative agencies and recently (December 2009) was a member of a trial team that obtained a 70,000,000.00 dollar verdict against an insurance company for violations of the Texas Insurance Code.

John Saenz is a native of Corpus Christi,Texas but has lived in San Antonio since 2009.

John was an undergraduate at Saint Louis University, graduating magma cum laude with a degree in Economics and Spanish in 2006. During his undergraduate studies, John studied abroad for one year in Madrid, Spain.

John received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in May 2009, where he was a member of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy. John became licensed to practice law in Texas in December of 2009 and joined  J.A. Davis & Associates in July of 2012.

Prior to joining J.A. Davis & Associates, John worked over two years as an attorney for the Texas Law Offices of Martin A. Harry, where he represented individuals with Social Security disability claims. Over his career, John has represented hundreds of claimants in Social Security disability hearings.

John enjoys spending his off time with his wife and child, watching sports, and playing recreational softball.

Abel Treviño has lived in San Antonio since 2003. Prior to 2003, Abel lived in Columbia, South Carolina.

He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009.

He received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University in December 2011. While at St. Mary’s, Abel participated in the St. Mary’s Civil Justice Clinic where he provided legal services to low-income clients.

He became licensed to practice law in Texas in May of 2012 and joined J. A. Davis & Associates in August of 2012.

On his free time, he enjoys running, watching the San Antonio Spurs, swing dancing, and has recently become involved in community outreach programs.
